Accessibility Statement for Discover Adelaide Tours

Updated 10 June 2026

At Discover Adelaide Tours, we want every guest to feel welcome, respected and supported. Our tours are small, personal and thoughtfully hosted, which means we are often able to assist guests with a range of needs when we know about them in advance.

Guests with additional needs

We welcome guests with disabilities, vision or hearing impairments, mobility considerations, medical needs, neurodiverse needs, or other individual requirements. As our tours are very small groups, we are often able to adapt the pace of the day, provide extra time at stops where possible, and offer practical support to help make the experience as enjoyable and comfortable as we can.

If you are considering booking and have any additional needs, please contact us before making your reservation. We can then discuss the itinerary, vehicle access, walking requirements, seating, rest stops and any other considerations to help determine whether the tour is suitable for you.

Wheelchair access

Unfortunately, our current vehicles are not wheelchair accessible and we are unable to accommodate guests who need to remain in a wheelchair during travel. Guests must be able to get in and out of our touring vehicles, either independently or with assistance from their own companion.

Some tour locations may also include uneven ground, stairs, gravel paths, sand, slopes or natural surfaces. Please contact us if you are unsure whether a particular tour will be suitable.

Companion Card

We accept the Companion Card. While we are unable to provide a free companion ticket, we can offer a discount for eligible companion cardholders. Please contact us before booking so we can discuss the best option for your tour.

Guests who do not speak English

We welcome guests who do not speak English. With prior notice, we can provide written tour information in your preferred language to help you enjoy a deeper and more meaningful experience during the day.

During the tour, we can also use Google Translate or similar translation tools to assist with communication where needed. Please let us know your preferred language before your tour so we can prepare as much as possible in advance.

Children and babies

Young children and babies are welcome on our private tours. Please contact us before booking so we can discuss your family’s needs, vehicle seating requirements, child restraints and the suitability of the itinerary.

Private tours are the best option for families with young children, as they allow for a more flexible pace and can be adapted more easily than a shared small-group tour.

How we can help

Depending on the tour and the needs of each guest, we may be able to assist with:

  • providing written tour information in another language

  • allowing extra time at stops where possible

  • adapting the pace of the day

  • helping guests understand walking distances and terrain before booking

  • using translation tools during the tour

  • discussing seating, rest stops and comfort needs in advance

  • recommending a private tour where a more flexible experience is required

Please contact us before booking

Every guest and every tour is different. The best way for us to support you is to understand your needs before you book.

Please contact Discover Adelaide Tours before making your reservation if you have any questions about accessibility, mobility, language support, medical needs, travelling with children, or whether a particular tour will be suitable for you.

We also understand that accessibility is not only about the website itself. Guests may have questions about tour suitability, mobility requirements, language support, travelling with children, Companion Card discounts, or other additional needs. We encourage guests to contact us before booking so we can discuss their individual requirements and provide clear information about what we can and cannot accommodate.
