Your day begins with a convenient 9:30am (approx) pickup from the cruise terminal. Travel comfortably in an air-conditioned minibus or car, accompanied by a fully accredited, English-speaking local driver/guide.
First, arrive at Maggie Beer's Farm Gate where you can see the farm in action. Purchase a tea or coffee and relax by the pond or wander around the farm grounds.
Then stop at Seppeltsfield, a stunning winery set amid beautifully manicured gardens. Browse the Jam Factory with artists making handmade crafts and delights on site. Pop into Vasse Virgin to sample their olive oil products and locally made produce. Opt to purchase a wine tasting of their famous wines.
Next, head to Rusden Wines, best known as a family-owned, boutique winery. Steeped in seven generations of grape-growing heritage, they pride themselves on their hands-on, traditional "vigneron" approach. Enjoy a grazing platter filled with local produce for lunch and complimentary wine tasting.
Then, briefly stop at Mengler's Hill Lookout to admire the expansive view of the Barossa before finishing at Melba's Chocolate shop to enjoy a tasting plate of their finest locally produced hand-made chocolates!
At the end of your Barossa highlights tour, you’ll return to your cruise ship by 4pm with wonderful memories and perhaps a treat or two to enjoy later.

An electric-powered wheelchair is available by prior arrangement for guests who need support walking longer distances, and it fits easily into all of our vehicles when not in use. Access steps are available for every vehicle, and two of our vehicles are fitted with microphones to make commentary easier to hear. We can also provide written information sheets for any of our tours in your preferred language. “What a fun day we had on our Barossa wine tour yesterday. The sun was shining and it set the tone for a fantastic day. All the wineries we visited were perfect and the staff so knowledgeable and attentive. We stopped off at the sculpture park with its amazing views and photo opportunity then finished at Melba’s chocolates to sample some of their goodies. Being coeliac my dietary requirements were well met thanks to Liz for her attentiveness in this regard. She really is a wonderful and knowledgeable guide.
